Season 2009-10

It was an even game all round for the first half Nomads had plenty of chances and so did Borrowash, but on the 31st min Wes York closed down the keeper who failed to clear the ball it rebounded off Wes and he followed it through to net for the Nomads 1-0 up.

The second half was much the same. The fans seen a fantastic performance from Wes when he kicked the ball over his head spun round and made a run with the ball to the goal and the ball just went wide which would of given the Nomads a cushion for the first time but to no avail. The Nomads kept trying to cling on to their lead but as usual it was just not our day and on the 88th min a soft freekick was given and a goal mouth scramble seen Borrowash equalise .Nomads tried to respond with another attack but Borrowash had gained confidence with their goal and pressed on to score another making the final score again 1-2. The Nomads Manager’s said they are pleased with their team performances over the last few games finding more confidence every game and starting to build a strong team performance all round, most of the league games have been very close and we must keep this going and the results will soon come
