 Match Report

This was to be an interesting game with both teams being bottom of the table and both needing the points. Anstey Nomads started the game well, Wes York was causing their defense major problems and broke free to put the Nomads up 1-0 . The Nomads could have had a few more but failed to put their chances in the net. The Nomads failed to clear the ball and Radford got an equalizer just before the halftime whistle.

Second half the manager had to sub Declan Sutton at halftime who was having a great game until one of Radfords players fouled him resulting in a sprain, The midfield were struggling without him and Radford got through Nomads defense again and scored another , then Nomads luck seemed to get worse when the keeper Daniel Allinson lost control of the ball and it went into the net 3-1 . The keeper more than made up for it with some fine saves. Radford then sat back thinking they had already won the game. But the Nomads weren’t going to give up this time the managers made some subs strengthening the midfield it worked and the Nomads picked their game right up and were rewarded with 2 goals from Antony Ward, they then continued with some better football but they ran out of time and the final result was 3-3 .
