Match Report

Officially Robin Whait's last game in charge, he cannot oversee a final win, but after Smiths go 1-0 up after just 12 minutes, Tom Lane misses a penalty on 38 minutes, and its proves a turning point. Although John Garden levels matters on 52 minutes, Steel are very strong, and Kevin Montgomery puts them in front on 68 minutes, before rounding off the win with a 90th minute penalty.

The end of the Robin Whait era is marked with a 'sub the sub!'. Craig Ewen, introduced in the 11th minute for the injured Jon Griffiths, is later took off on 79 minutes for Antoni Zarzycki.
