Season 2001-02

The curse of the midweek game strikes again, and despite Polska having the lions share of chances in the first half, it's all about putting them away, which Polska fail to do. Inevitably, they eventually get caught out against a strong Birstall side, but frankly Polska look a shadow of the team that beat their opponents at Knighton Park earlier in the season - they clearly have the cup final on their minds and the league games in between are just becoming an unwelcome distraction.
