Season 2001-02

A midweek game to end the season was not how we wanted to finish this campaign, but Kelly had failed to show the Sunday before the final, so here we were slugging it out 3 days after winning the cup. Understandably, we had little motivation, and it was even a struggle to get a team out, with 3 reserve teamers drafted in. At the time of writing, this would become Steve Whait's final Polska game, a comment that would also apply to Butch and Colt. We put up a small token fight before losing the game, but in the end looked back on a highly enjoyable and successful season.
