The infamous match often referred to by Rys Procinski when Polska plucked an unknown Geoff Smith off the street, and gave him a game ahead of the Polska legend. In truth, Smith had already been approached in the week, and was always set to play. In the event, Polska put on a brave display, only going down to a 62nd minute goal that appeard to come off the back off Stu Matthews, although later claimed by Dean Summers, now of FC Throops fame.
