Season 2009-10

Leicester Polska produced a brilliant first half display against champions of champions Advance Couriers. Unfortunately, they ran out of steam rapidly in the second half, but should be rightly proud of their contribution to the match. After defending superbly for 25 minutes, they gradually got more into the game, and Savvo Wieczorek opened the scoring for the visitors on 25 minutes. Liam O'Flynn equalised 2 minutes later, with the half time score 1-1. Advance - and O'Flynn again - took the lead on 49 minutes, and from then on it was always going to be their day as the win helped them secure their 7th league title in 9 seasons.

Polska 'Old Boy' Darren Wheeler came on in the 59th minute but didn't manage to find the net - the first time in 6 games against us we have managed to keep him quiet!
