Season 2010-11
Match Report | LEICESTER POLSKA ended their season on something of a flat note as they succumbed to Throops, losing 6-1. Maciek Wysoczanski was deployed as man marker for Throops danger man Leon Doughty, and he did a very disciplined job, unable to legislate for Doughty's outrageous 16th minute 40 yard cross cum shot that beat Podburalzynski. Courtney Nelson then made it 2-0 on 35 minutes as Polska failed to step up a gear, Wieczorek eventually being moved wide right with Gagliewksi on his own upfront to try and counter the Throops threat. 2 more Throops goals within 20 minutes of the second half killed the game off before Dyndesz came off the bench to get the solitary Polska goal, their 25th consecutive match at finding the net. But 2 more late Throops goals cemented their winning position, and it was a disappointing way for Polska to finish their season. Procinski came on late for his 311th appearance, and other than Alan Chater having a stonewall penalty turned down, their wasn't a lot else to report. | |
