A boring, quiet game, Jacobs were not at their best, yet Polska failed to take advantage and were even worse! Hassall scored the only goal of the game, and as ever was Jacobs' danger man, all the play going through him, but Polska were as interested as a nun at a swingers party, and lost 1-0.

Without Hassall, Jacobs were very beatable, but not on this evidence.
