Season 2009-10

Nomads started the game well with a lot of early pressure, in the 2nd minute they shot wide. Blackwell chances were the same. On the 15th minute Nomads failed to clear and their cross went in towards goal, but the Blackwell couldn`t get a touch on it and it went inches past the post. The Nomads keeper kept them in the game with some fine saves as it was all Blackwell for the remainder of the 1st half, but it was 0-0 at half time.

2nd half Nomads had managed to still be in the game from a lot of pressure from Blackwell. Nomads upped their game with 4 corners in a row with shots skimming wide, but 10 mins later Blackwell gained a penalty and made it 1-0 to them. Then only 10 mins later they scored another to make it 2-0.

Nomads tried to pick their game up with some good chances but it was Blackwells keepers turn to pull off some fine saves. Nomads were also denied a penalty but the ref played on, but with 4 mins left there was a ray of hope when Jamie Munday hit the ball on the volley to score for the Nomads about taking the net out, but the end result was 2-1 to Blackwell.
