Season 2001-02

The infamous game that came the morning after the legendary 'Sunday Sport Girls' night. The sights and sounds of the morning betray what happened the night before. Polska manager Mark Whait spends most of the pre kick off paying back tenners to all the players that lent him money the night before so he could pay for 'private' dancers. Steve Whait, fresh from his night of verbally abusing bouncers and strippers over their careers ("How can you do this all night when we are at war and innocent people are dying in Afghanistan?"), is so hammered he is not well enough to start the game. It's left to the quality of Butch and Ash to give Polska a 2-1 half time lead, with Polska unsuprisingly not playing well. Just as Newbys realise that Polska are actually in bad shape, super sub Steve Whait kills the game off, to send Polska into the quarter finals of the presidents cup.
