Season 2001-02

Polska suffer only their second defeat under the new management regime, this time going down 4-2 to Thurlaston in the County Cup. However, it's a controversial game, Butch Throop being sent off before half time for an apparent combination of a foul and swearing at the referee. The referee tries to even things up by giving a Magpie his marching orders in the second half, but by then its too late.
