Season 2007-08
Match Report | AN under strength Leicester Polska made heavy weather of beating a spirited Magna Rangers, but eventually prevailed 4-2 in a scrappy affair. Stef Thornton was made captain for the day in what is officially his last Polska match before his move to Ireland. Mark Inglis opened the scoring on 10 minutes after being put through by Andy Zarzycki, before Magna replied - a soft goal from a corner on 22 minutes. Inglis then scored again on 34 minutes to give Polska a half time lead. Polska seemed to have done enough before Magna levelled on 78 minutes, but their equaliser was short lived as Chris Rudkin fired home a powerful shot a minute later making up for his earlier miss of the season! Inglis then wrapped things up with his hat trick in the 82nd minute after good work from Adam Dyke. It was Inglis' 5th hat trick in Polska colours and his 70th career goal.
