LEICESTER POLSKA continued their good form from the previous week by easily brushing aside Melton League Champions The Cutting Room 4-0. The result was seemingly never in doubt when Tom Lane converted a third minute penalty after Chris Cooper was tripped in the box a minute earlier. Chris Rudkin then slotted home on 28 minutes after an excellent pass from Rich Ellis. Andy Ilnicki then scored a wonder goal on 31 minutes, an overhead kick which was executed with sublime skill and prowess. Polska could afford to slow the pace down in the second half, although Chris Eames buried a 66th minute effort to make it 4-0. Cutting Room never looked like troubling the Polska defence, who were comfortable in gaining their first clean sheet since September 2007.
