A much improved performance from Polska saw them have to come from behind twice to salvage a point. Polska actually had the better of the chances in the first half, but got punished just by errors that let the hosts open the scoring on 17 minutes. Chris Eames, making his first start of the season, saw a number of chances go close before finally opening the Polska scoring on 41 minutes. It was his 20th career Polska goal. Earlier Macin 'Spider' Pajak had forced a point blank save from the Guthlaxton keeper onto the crossbar. The game was more even in the second half, and Guthlaxton again went ahead on 51 minutes. Marek Dziopa then scored his first Polska goal when a smart free kick beat the wall on 57 minutes as both sides shared the points.
