Season 2010-11
Match Report | LEICESTER POLSKA were left cursing a late lapse that saw them throw away three points after leading 2-0 with 7 minutes to go. Polska sprung into life late on in the first half, and Arkadiusz Choina scored for the second time in as many weeks to give them a 1-0 lead on 37 minutes. Polska looked to be very comfortable, and missed a number of chances - Chris Eames hitting the post - but looked home and dry when Radek Gagliewski scored a wonder goal thirty yard lob over the Tumar keeper on 82 minutes to make it 2-0. Tumar then scored a disputed 84th minute goal - credited as an own goal from a throw - but Polska insisted the throw had carried directly into the net. Without the benefit of video evidence or a linesman the goal stood! Tumar then went ugly and instead of playing down time, Dyndesz sliced an intended clearance off for a throw in, which Tumar scored from in the final minute. | |
