Season 2010-11

Leicester Polska Football Club belives strongly in sportsmanship and fair play. It believes in respect towards opponents (although not too much!) but in particular respect for match and league officials. These officials get involved in the game through their own volition and, just like players, will have good games and bad games. It is for this reason that no further comment will be added about today's referee, and the club has chosen not to name him on the website for what was a highly controversial performance. Save to say that Marek Dziopa's 70th minute red card was utterly ridiculous and this game will go down as one of the strangest in the history of the club. Also for the reason that Dziopa's red card will be thoroughly and vigorously defended and appealed against, it would prejudice any potential hearings into this incident were the club to comment further.

Notable incidents:

Spider Pajak saved a 9th minute Sunbury penalty in his first start in goal for the club. He's the NINTH keeper we've used this season!

Mark Inglis put us ahead on 13 minutes.
