Season 2010-11

The 'replayed' home game against St Patricks saw Polska overturn the original voided 3-2 defeat into a 1-0 win. On a pitch fit for mud wrestling, Polska had to win ugly, and in that respect it certainly was a Peter Beardsley victory. The only goal of the game came when Mark Inglis got the faintest of touches to an Alan Chater corner on 27 minutes. Polska worked hard and in the first half Chris Eames and Tom Dunkley were both excellent. Both sides had chances to score more goals, but all the football got lost in the mud. It has to be said St Patricks dominated the second half, but just couldn't break down a determined Polska defence. Spider Pajak in goal then came into his own, and pulled off a blinding last minute save to deny Pats a share of the points.
