LUKASZ TABAKA came off the bench to inspire Polska to a 5-1 victory over bottom side Trinity Foxes. After a comfortable start, Polska started to show the effects of a hangover from their Foster Cup final defeat, and after the Hollywood passes failed to come off, they consistently failed to play the simple ball. As a result, Trinity stayed in the game, and their 39th minute goal from David Brakes was on the cards. There seemed a lack of cohesion from Polska but with the switch to a back three for the second half, with Gawlik replacing Wasik, the hosts seemed to pick up a little. It finally took until the 67th minute for Savo Wieczorek to equalise with a headed goal from a Radek Gaglewski corner. Tabaka then arrived to inspire the victory. Despite ruling himself out in the week to rest his persistent knee injury, he stole Wisniewski's boots to present himself to the game in the 73rd minute. Just two minutes later, he scored from a Marek Dziopa pass to give Polska the lead, then set up Karol Osipinski on 80 minutes as Polska made it 3-1. Mark Chater added an 89th minute goal from a Marek corner, before Radek Gaglewski went back to basics and ran from his own half right into the Trinity box to make it 5-1 on 90 minutes after a Dawid Szmit pass.
