Leicester Polska are enjoying their best start to a season since 2004 and kept up their maximum 100% record with their third win in as many games, beating Old Aylestone 3-2. Winning their first away game since January, Polska got off to a flyer when Savo Wieczorek scored his quickest ever Polska goal - just 53 seconds on the clock before the forward scored his second in two starts after a great long range effort after a mix up between the Aylestone keeper Rowley and his defender. Polska then had a goal disallowed for offside on 17 minutes from debutant Kucznier before Dawid Wasik doubled Polska's lead on 20 minutes after exchanging passes with Sav. Polska then seemed to drop down a gear - probably expecting an easy game and maybe thinking they had won it. As a result Aylestone came back into their game - and peppered Polska with a flurry of set pieces. This really broke up Polska's rhythm, and when Jay Smith scored direct from a free kick on 33 minutes, it gave them a belief they probably shouldn't have had. Smith then doubled up on 42 minutes after Jarek was adjudged to have fouled the forward in the area for a penalty that seemed to rattle Polska. Polska made two changes at half time, and took the game to the hosts, and after seemingly settling down, it took them until 71 minutes to take the lead again - after Wasik was brought down in the box with a ridiculous challenge after a flying run down the left. Jarek stepped up to coolly slot home. Polska managed to hang on fairly comfortably, and now have back to back cup games before resuming in the league in October.
