Leicester Polska are now enjoying their best start to a season since in 13 years, and made it 5 from 5 and 6 in a row as they beat Division 3 Glen Villa Reserves 8-1 in the prelim round of the Chairmans Cup. Star of the show was Przemek Pzerwa who scored 4 first half goals from right midfield in his first Polska game since March. He finally opened the scoring on 22 minutes, heading in from a Mazurek cross. And he then made it 2-0 on 27 minutes when latching on to a Kosiorek pass that the Villa keeper perhaps could have got to first. On 39 minutes, Pzerwa completed his hat trick when heading in from a Hinz cross. And then on 40 minutes he made it 4-0. In the second half, Polska took a while to get going again and on 59 minutes 17 year old debutant keeper Ziniewicz was harshly judged to have given away a penalty when saving at the feet of a Villa forward when it seemed more likely that he had got the ball first. Justice prevailed as he saved the resulting spot kick. On 61 minutes Kosiorek made it 5-0 when latching on to a loose ball 20 yards out and lashing home an unstoppable shot. Villa then made it 5-1 on 77 minutes when Polska seemed to switch off for the first time, floating in a direct free kick which seemed to fool the entire Polska back line. But then substitute Dobrzynski made it 6-1 on 78 minutes after converting an impressive Hinz cross. Another second half substitute - Wesolowski made it 7-1 on 81 minutes after the Villa keeper could only parry a Dobrzynski shot. Dobrzynski then made it 8-1 when starting a run from just inside his own half from a Szczpczyk pass that caught Villa on the break.
