POLSKA got back to winning ways, despite going 1-0 down on 14 minutes, the only real attempt they had at the Polska goal in the first 45, although Polska themselves had 5 off target shots to show for their first half work. In the second half, they started stronger, and were awarded a penalty for handball on 59 minutes which Marek Dziopa converted - his 30th Polska career goal. Polska then had 2 great chances to increase their lead, before Cupal thundered a shot home from the edge of the area on 76 minutes, coming on as sub on 67 minutes.
