JOE MORAN NOTCHES 5 GOALS

On paper this looked to be a tight encounter, but the Nomads put in an impressive performance and dominated throughout the match. Joe Moran put the icing on the cake by helping himself to 5 goals.

Nomads opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Scott James found Jake Duffy who fed the ball to Joe Moran and he opened his tally. In the 25th minute a Jake Duffy free-kick was won by Matt Boyles, his header found Joe Moran who slotted home.

Two goals on the stroke of half-time gave the Nomads a four goal lead. On 45minutes Luke Padmore won the ball, and after rounding the keeper passes to Joe Moran for his hat-trick. In injury time he made it four after being fed in by Jake Duffy.

The Second half was only 5 minutes old when a Jake Duffy corner found Scott James to score with a trade mark header. Nomads completed their scoring on 65 minutes when another Duffy corner was flicked on to guess who and he made it a nap hand.

Nomads lead was cut to 6-1 two minutes later, but Blaby needed the assistance of an Anstey player. Gareth Wilson was the unfortunate one to put the ball past Ashley King.
