Season 2010-11

POLSKA recorded their first win in almost a month with a comfortable - yet uninspiring - win over Division 3 opponents Humberstone Legion Legends. Polska threatened to run riot early on with Chris Eames spurning an early chance along with Mo Baldeh, but Baldeh then made amends by scoring after just 6 minutes. Polska then went a bit flat, and were seemingly happy to coast through the next half hour. Baldeh was then put clean through with a perfect counter attacking pass from the impressive Tomasz Godziebiewski, and put the ball in the back of the net after a one-on-one with the keeper to make it 2-0 on 42 minutes. Legion then enjoyed the greater possession in the second half, but badly lacked a cutting edge. Polska were happy to take the clean sheet and await their quarter final opponents.
