Season 2010-11
Match Report | LEICESTER POLSKA got off to the worst possible start when conceding after just 50 SECONDS away to Sunbury United. Worse was to come as they then went 2-0 down after just 3 minutes, before Mo Baldeh pulled one back on 7 minutes after a cracking through ball from Alan Chater. The game looked like being carnage for Polska as they found themselves 3-1 down after just 10 minutes, but then they finally found their stride and the score remained the same at half time. Nine minutes into the second half Baldeh made it 3-2 and Polska looked like they were back in the game. But they failed to deal with a corner just under ten minutes later and when the hosts went 4-2 up, the game was killed off. Sunbury went on finish up 7-2 winners, and will surely have a big shout in the Division Two title race. One other highlight for Polska - not that there were many - was a 75th minute penalty save from Andzrej Podburalzynski. edited by Mark (10/01/2011) | |
