LEICESTER POLSKA recorded their biggest ever County Cup win over a poorly starting Loughborough side. A ball into the Loughboough box was handled on just 8 minutes, and Marek Dziopa stepped up to convert the penalty, his 25th Polska goal. Two minutes later, Karol Osipinski got on the end of a brilliant Gorlay pass to nip in front of the Loughborough keeper Cann and head over him to make it 2-0. On 17 minutes, Marek saw his effort take a massive own goal deflection off a Loughborough defender to make it 3-0. In the second half, Marek swung in a corner, and again a defender got to the ball before Sav and it was 4-0 on 51 minutes. Lutowicz then made it 5-0 on 61 minutes, finishing off an effort when played in by Piotr. And on 63 minutes, Max scored easily from a Patryk pass to make it 6-0. Max then scored again on 68, finishing off a Michal chance. The final goal came when Karol was fouled in the penalty area, and Sav put it away for 8-0 on 88 minutes, after his first effort hit the post, with the referee ordering it to be retaken.
