Season 2015-16

POLSKA are through the last 16 of the County Cup after a lucky win against Castle Donnington. Although Polska played much better in the second half, they were dreadful in the opening 45, and CD simply let them off the hook, whilst also missing some amazing chances, and failing to master the offside trap. It was all CD early doors, but returning striker Mantas showed how important he is to Polska when receiving a Lutowicz pass on 12 minutes and lobbing the advancing keeper to make it 1-0. CD equalised two minutes later after Polska failed to clear their lines. And from then on it was all the hosts, as Polska looked disinterested and not wanting to put in a tackle. Nor liking to be tackled either. Second half Polska were much better, and even though CD still missed another 2 good chances, Sav made it 2-1 on 67 minutes after being put through by a Mantas pass. 4 minutes later Mantas scored his second and Polska's third from a Marek pass and after that Polska were rarely troubled.
