Season 2015-16
Match Report | LEICESTER POLSKA didn't handle the atrocious conditions at all as they surrendered 2-1 to St Patricks who adapted better. Starting well but missing chances, St Pats rode their luck but soon came into the game and eventually their persistence paid off when they were awarded a 27th minute penalty which they slotted home. The lead was short lived, and after Piotr was fouled, Patryk Mazurek produced a world class finish from a 25 yard free kick on 32 minutes to make it 1-1 - the half time score. In almost 2 hours of constant rain on a dreadful pitch, Polska just didn't fancy it, and St Pats went 2-1 up on 49 minutes, after Polska were caught cold. In the last 20 they finally seemed to come to life, but St Pats defended superbly and deservedly went through. 27' St Pats 1-0 up after penalty 32' 1-1 after world class free kick from Mazurek 46' Dobrzynski replaces Wieczorek 49' 1-2 after St Pats score | |
